Conference System
The congress will take place on the platform Gather.town. Gather enables the playful simulation of the presence of all participants at a common congress location that we can design ourselves and that everyone can walk through and explore. The conditions of mutual perception are emulated, enabling casual and relatively hurdle-free encounters and interactions (in sound and vision). The common tele-conference software Zoom can be integrated here. This makes it possible to hold typical conference lectures as well as keynotes and workshops, poster sessions as well as discussions under the described conditions of virtual presence substitution in a common place, instead of replacing the virtual conference exclusively with a list of links to Zoom meetings.
